In order to create more employment in the country's private sector, ministers will be required to offer a greater degree of encouragement to entrepreneurs, an expert has suggested.
According to the Recruitment Society's chairman Steve Huxham, the emergency Budget which was announced last week (June 22nd) did have progressive aspects.
However, he added: "I think it is a positive step, but in terms of really getting the private sector moving, we need to give entrepreneurs a lot more encouragement than they've got on the Budget."
When it comes to the issue of private sector employment, Mr Huxham continued that the Budget alone might not be enough to spur on businesses to create new jobs.
UK contractors may be interested to note that chancellor George Osborne's Budget contained a variety of measures which are designed to offer support to the nation's entrepreneurs.
Among these announcements, it was revealed that an Enterprise Capital Fund is to be set up.
