People looking for jobs after finishing their university degree courses will still be able to find potential employment opportunities, an expert has suggested.
According to Tom Davie, the director of professional development on the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services board, there is a variety of methods that students can adopt in order to find new positions.
He stated: "They should be very proactive in selling their skills and abilities to those employers that are still recruiting - because they are still out there."
In a development which may interest prospective UK contractors, major employment portals and careers advisors are among the sources of information that Mr Davie suggests may prove useful to those seeking work.
Last week, the Office for National Statistics revealed unemployment figures relating to the quarter that led up to April of this year.
During this period, the country's rate of unemployment reached 7.9 per cent.
